Welcome to Calvary Nexus Kids Ministry
We are a ministry that covers from nursery to 5th grade. Our ultimate goal in kids ministry is to partner with parents to better disciple the next generation to love God and love their neighbor. We believe that the bible clearly calls all parents to be the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children. In a culture that prioritizes sports, education, and monetary success as the most important things in life, we want to come alongside families in their pursuit of falling more in love with Jesus. From the parent’s heart to their home.
Follow us @calvarynexuskids for some fun interactive activities and a chance to win some cool prizes.

What it’s about
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might…
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your home,
and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
– Deuteronomy 6:5-7
>> To equip families to effectively disciple their children
>> To teach them to love God and neighbors
>> To live out the Gospel in their neighborhoods, saturating our city with Christ-centered families
The Calvary Nexus Kids Ministry is pretty simple. We want to keep it Christ-centered.
>> upward >> through the lessons and activities, God reveals His grand story, through Jesus, and how each child fits within it
>> inward >> the kids, expressing their love for God, get to make a loud and joyful noise in worship through song
>> outward >> by cultivating an atmosphere where children are captivated by the love of Jesus will then reach out, in love, to their community
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another,
as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
– 1 Peter 4:10

From the makers of The Gospel Project: “Without the work of the gospel, the divide between the created and our Creator would be insurmountable. But there’s good news. God had a plan for His people. We believe that God’s gospel project began “In the beginning” and continues today in the hearts and lives of His people. It is our greatest hope and the means by which we are free to love, serve, and follow Jesus Christ. The Gospel Project points people of all ages to the good news of the gospel and equips them to live gospel-filled lives individually, in community, and on mission.”

John 21:15-17 says:
“When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?’ Peter said to him, ‘Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Feed my lambs’.
“He said to him a second time, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love me?’ Peter said to him, ‘Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.’ He said to him, ‘Tend my sheep’.
“Jesus said to Peter the third time, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love me?’ Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, ‘Do you love me?’ and he said to him, ‘Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Feed my sheep’.”
