Use your gifts to love God and your neighbor
Meet Needs
Share God’s Love
Live Like Jesus
Are you searching for a tangible way to grow your faith?
You attend church, read your Bible, and you’re part of a Neighborhood Group – but is there anything more that you can do to grow in love for God and others?
God has given unique gifts to each believer in order to build up the body of Christ. When you serve, you’re following in Christ’s example and meeting tangible needs both within and outside the church building.
At Calvary Nexus, we have a variety of opportunities to help you use your gifts to serve God.
Why Should I Serve?
Meet Needs
Our world is broken by sin and suffering, and opportunities to help others are all around us. Serving others is a practical way to meet real needs and love our neighbors.
Share God’s Love
By serving others, we’re able to share God’s love with those who might not know Him yet. Experiencing God’s love in a practical way can soften hearts and make people more receptive to the good news of Jesus.
Live Like Jesus
Jesus was and is our perfect example for serving, as He didn’t come to be served, but to serve others (Matthew 20:28). As we serve, we’re following in Jesus’s footsteps and becoming more like Him.
